About Harry M. Goldin, MD
Dr. Goldin is a medical doctor with board certification in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Goldin was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky Medical School and served a three year residency in internal medicine at Michael Reese Hospital. He then served a second three year residency in dermatology at Cook County Hospital, where he was the Chief Resident in dermatology. Dr. Goldin remained at Cook County Hospital and became a Senior Attending Physician, training many dermatology residents. Dr. Goldin has been a faculty member in the dermatology departments of both the University of Illinois in Chicago and Rush University, and is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He participates in ongoing continuous medical education programs and has authored many papers in the medical literature. Dr. Goldin has lectured at local and national medical meetings, and has published newspaper editorials about healthcare issues and other topics. Since 1993, Dr. Goldin has hosted and organized the monthly meetings for the Great Lakes Dermatological Society of which he is past president. In addition to being a member of the American Medical Association, he is a member and past president of both the Chicago Dermatological Society and the Illinois Dermatological Society.
