About Gretchen Hoover, DDS
Dr. Gretchen Hoover was born in Houston and raised in Pasadena, TX. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Texas in Austin, where she first fell in love with Austin. She returned to Houston where she received her Master's of Science from the University of Houston - Clear Lake Campus. Dr. Hoover graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston where she was very involved in her dental school class. Not only did she serve as President of her class, but she received the coveted award as Student of the Year Award and Senior Dental Student Award. She was also an active member of many organizations while attending dental school. Dr. Hoover loves being a dentist and gets the most joy out of having her patients go from being afraid of the dentist, to looking forward to their dental appointment. Pain free dentistry is something she is always working to achieve and her patients would agree. Dr. Hoover holds herself to a high standard of excellence and believes in surrounding herself with a wonderful team that helps her be the best she can be. Creating a positive energy when you walk through the doors is her goal. Personally, Dr. Hoover and her husband Dale have 2 beautiful daughters, Brodie and Tatum. They love spending time together with their 2 dogs and love staying active and traveling. Dr. Hoover is an amateur photographer and loves anything that allows her to be creative. Dentistry is all about creating not only a beautiful and healthy smile, but a positive experience with every visit. Dr. Hoover loves changing smiles through cosmetic dentistry and especially loves treating children and giving them an experience that will shape them into ""dental loving adults!"" Dr. Hoover is excited about being back in beautiful Austin and looks forward to getting to know you and your family.
