About Grant W. Carlson
Grant W. Carlson, MD, has been board certified in plastic surgery since 1993, surgical oncology since 1991, and surgery since 1989. Dr. Carlson began practicing with Emory Healthcare in 1991 and is currently affiliated with Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital Midtown, Grady Memorial Hospital, and Atlanta VA Medical Center. His clinical interests include breast cancer/tumors, breast reconstruction, head and neck cancer, mammography, melanoma, microvascular surgery, sentinel node bx-breast, sentinel node bx-melanoma, and skin cancer. He is the only surgeon in the Atlanta, Georgia area to perform both the breast surgery to remove the tumor as well as immediate reconstruction.
