About George D. Xipoleas
Dr. George Xipoleas is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has been with Long Island Plastic Surgical Group since 2013 and has been a partner since 2017. Dr. Xipoleas graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Stony Brook University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemical Sciences. He then earned his Medical Degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed his plastic surgery residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Xipoleas expanded his training as a fellow at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary specializing in aesthetic surgery.Dr. Xipoleas is well versed in a wide range of reconstructive procedures such as lower extremity reconstruction, Mohs reconstruction, and breast reconstruction. He also performs many procedures following breast cancer including oncoplastic reconstruction, implant-based reconstruction, autologous tissue-based reconstruction (DIEP, TUG, TRAM flaps), and lymph node transfer for lymphedema.Additionally, Dr. Xipoleas performs a wide array of aesthetic procedures such as breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, abdominoplasty, as well as minimally invasive treatments including injectables and fat transfer while employing the latest techniques in cosmetic enhancement.
