About George Mui, DDS
Dr. George Mui has been practicing General and Cosmetic Dentistry in Mount Prospect, Illinois since 1985. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1977 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery. A second lieutenant in the United States Army throughout dental school, Dr. Mui served 4 years on active duty as a Captain in the US Army Dental Corps, stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky, upon graduation. He was assistant clinic chief of his dental clinic and received an award for outstanding service upon his honorable discharge. Dr. Mui opened his first office in Mount Prospect in 1985 and on October 1, 2008 opened his current office at 221 West Prospect Avenue in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Dr. Mui is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. He has completed the Cerinate Smile Design Workshop covering the following Lumineers and Cerinate Studio Processes: Diagnosis and Case Selection, Treatment Planning and Smile Design, The No Prep/Minimal Prep Porcelain Lumineers Technique, Porcelain Inlays and Onlays, Anterior and Posterior Composite Restorations and Principles of Long Term Follow-Up Care. He has been performing Implant Restorations teamed with board certified oral surgeons in multiple case treatments for over 20 years. In a 2007-2008 annual survey conducted by Consumers' Checkbook, a nonprofit consumer information & service resource, Dr. Mui was named one of the top-rated dentists in the Chicagoland area. He also appears in the 2009, 2010, and 2011 editions of the Consumer Research Council of America's "Guide to America's Top Dentists".
