About Gary p. Balas, DDS
"Each day I come in to work, I have the opportunity to enhance the lives of my patients by providing high-quality, advanced dental care. Dentistry can have such an impact on people's lives. The smiles that are enhanced in my patients of all ages, and knowing something new potentially confronts me every day, makes this profession perpetually exciting. At our office, my team and I are determined to exceed our patients' expectations in everything we do. Along with my staff, I have an unwavering desire to meet my patients' needs in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner. I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Loyola University School of Dentistry and continue my education to this day. I understand that the field of dentistry is ever-changing, and I always want to improve upon my knowledge. To that end, I am involved in continuing education programs through the Pankey Institute the Dr. David Hornbrook Group, Nobel Biocare, Implant Inovations, and Bio Horizons Implant Systems. Additionally, I am active in many professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. I am originally from Hammond, IN, and have lived in Arlington Heights, IL for over 25 years. My wife, Mary-Beth, and I have four children, Robert, Sarah, John, and Megan. In addition to coaching my children's sporting teams, I also enjoy listening to Jazz music."
