About Fredda Rosenbaum, DDS
Dr. Fredda Rosenbaum earned her DDS from NYU’s College of Dentistry, graduating with honors in 1982. She is a certified member of the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine (IABDM) and an accredited member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT).It was after graduating from Barnard that Dr. Rosenbaum decided to face her childhood fears by becoming a dentist.“I was six years old when my brother hit me in the face,” she says. “That was my mother’s only clue that I had a tooth that was hurting. It was also the beginning of a childhood interwoven with dental memories. My teeth were decayed, lost, dead, spotted – a mess. But dentists saved my smile. By the time I finished dental school, I had developed a profound respect for what those doctors had accomplished in my youthful mouth.“As a result, I have a true understanding of what my patients go through and a deep respect when they gather the courage to come in and change their dental health for the better.”
