About Eric M. Balsis, DDS
Dr. Balsis attended Michigan State University where he received his Bachelor degree in Human Biology and Human Physiology. He then attended the University of Detroit School of Dentistry. Dr. Balsis was interested in the medical field from a young age, particularly being able to help people by fixing what was ailing them. Dentistry allows him to fulfill that desire and also allows him plenty of time for his family life, which is also very important to him. Dr. Balsis has been with our Berrien family since February of 2010. Prior to that time he was with the Van Buren Cass County Health Department from June 2009-April 2010. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, Lakeland Valley Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics. Dr. Balsis has completed the Core program at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (232 hours) and also received his fellowship. In addition to this, he attends approximately 65 hours of continuing education per year. Dr. Balsis and his wife, Jessica, have two children, son Dawson and daughter Brinley. In his time away from work, he enjoys playing golf and attending horse shows with his family.
