About Emily Yasmer, DMD
Dr Emily Yasmer graduated from the University of Florida in 2002. She returned to her hometown of Tucson and following in her father, Dr. Larry Yasmer’s footsteps, she began practicing dentistry in 2003. Dr Yasmer is a member of the American Dental Association, Pima Dental Study Club and Arizona Dental Association. In honor of her late father, Dr. Yasmer coordinates The Wide Open Golf Tournament to raise funds for children’s charities. She is also active in other local charities for children as well as providing volunteer dental services in Tucson. Dr. Yasmer and her husband have two children and ejoy active family time as well as travel, snow skiing, and she enjoys working with her hands and doing crafts. Dental visits can sometimes be stressful and Dr. Yasmer believes the staff at Desert Springs Family Dentistry is an enthusiastic team of people who work well together to achieve positive outcomes. She personally strives to change the old negative views of dentistry with an upbeat attitude and a friendly personality. She enjoys seeing people’s minds changed as their oral health improves.
