About Elsa C. Castro, DDS
Dr. Elsa Castro attended the UC Davis as an undergraduate and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from UC San Francisco in 1998. She worked as an associate dentist in a variety of offices for 7 years before starting her own practice in 2005. She is a part time clinical instructor at UCSF dental school where she has the chance to teach the next generation of dentists. Dr. Castro was born in Lima, Peru. She comes from a family of dentists who inspired her as a young child to become a dentist herself. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Santa Clara Dental Society.
