About Elana Shlansky, DDS
Dr. Shlansky is dedicated to merging the esthetic and scientific sides of her clinical practice. The high-level training she received at esteemed practices on both the east and west coasts of the country informs her integrated patient care. With science and technology driving fast-paced changes, Dr. Shlansky works diligently to remain at the fore-front and provide the highest level of dentistry. Dr. Shlansky is proficient in appearance-related dentistry, including crowns, veneers and implants as well as progressive restorative care. She incorporates expertise from training in public health into a personalized, patient-centered approach. Patients are drawn to her warm and gentle energy and instantly enjoy a comfortable and friendly rapport. In addition, Dr. Shlansky focuses on the oral-systemic connection, including the critical link between dental disease, cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Dr. Shlansky is a graduate of Cornell University and received her DDS degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She attained a Master of Public Health degree as well as the distinction of an HRSA Title VII Pre-doctoral Scholar at the Columbia University Joseph L. Mailman School of Public Health. Dr. Shlansky completed the rigorous and highly regarded General Practice Residency at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Her work in the Bay Area provided an opportunity to hone private practice skills in cosmetic and esthetic areas in dental care. She also worked at a non-profit community dental clinic and served as adjunct professor at the University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
