About Edmund W. Jay, DDS
Dr. Jay lived his childhood along the Monterey Peninsula, where he always aspired to do spiritual things. Upon graduating high school he attended the University of Arizona where he achieved his BS in Nutritional Biochemistry at the same time receiving his Associates in Applied Sciences, Dental Laboratory Technology. He funded his education with a golf scholarship, as well as, working as a dental lab technician. Dr. Jay volunteered several years providing lab support for cleft palate/oral cancer patients in Tucson and in communities in Baja California & Mexico. Dr. Jay then attended the Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago. Where he graduated number one in Clinical Status, involved with dental research as well as the clinical honors program. Deciding to take things to the next level, he attended the UCLA school of Dentistry for specialty training in Advanced Prosthodontics. While holding the position as Chief Resident at the Wadsworth Veterans Administration Hospital, in the fixed and removable program- maxillofacial prosthodontics and Osseo integrated implants. Dr. Jay is currently involved in these member organizations; American Academy of General Dentistry; American College of Prosthodontics American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego Dental Society, San Diego County Prosthodontic Society. In Dr. Jay's spare time that is not spent on the links, he is with his loyal family; supportive wife Jennifer, and two wonderful children; Billy and Ashley.
