About Dean Gekas, DDS
Dr. Dean Gekas received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at University of Maryland and his undergraduate degree in Biology/Pre Med from Elizabethtown College. After dental school, Dr. Gekas worked in the suburbs of Philadelphia and returned to Maryland in 1994 to become a partner in a practice in Columbia, MD. In 1999, Dr. Gekas decided to start his own practice in Baltimore County opening Dean Gekas DDS PA. In his 29 years of experience, Dr. Gekas’ dental philosophy is that all dentistry should be delivered in a pain free manner and caring environment based on each patient’s individual needs. In 2007, Dr. Gekas expanded his clinical skills in surgical dentistry to be able to place dental implants in his office providing patients with full service surgical to prosthetic finished implants without the need for referrals out of the office. Making patients feel welcome and their dental experience pain-free, is his highest priority. He believes that good dental health starts with an informed patient so their oral health remains at its best for a lifetime. His practice features the latest technologies in both digital, cosmetic/crown & bridge dentistry, as well as, digital low-dose radiation radiography.
