David Phan DDS is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at San Jose Oral Surgery and Implantology, CA. He joined the office in San Jose after completing 4 years of residency at Missouri University in Kansas City where he held the position as Oral and Maxillofacial surgery chief. During his residency program he received awards for his work in oral surgery including the Mosby Award of Surgical Excellence. He also made presentation posters at the Midwest Dental Conference over a three year period on the subjects of pathological jaw fracture, the Bjork Flap and the management of failed TMJ prosthesis. David Phan is accepting new patients and returning patients for all their oral and maxillofacial surgical needs. With many years of experience in dentistry he’s dedicated to provide you with expert oral care. After completing his general dentist training at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, David Phan went on to specialise in oral and maxillofacial surgery. His internship was completed at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, rated amongst the top 5 hospitals in the nation by the University Health Care Consortium. David then went on to complete his residency at Missouri University in Kansas City. The university is ranked in the top 15 oral surgery schools in the USA and has received an overall rating of 5 stars for their programs. David Phan began his career in dentistry in 2012 working as a general dentist at practises in Texas and California. Then in 2014 he moved into the area of oral and maxillofacial surgery, completing his work based training at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, MO.
