About David R. Brinkley, DDS
David R. Brinkley, DDS, MS received a Bachelor's degree in Biology and then graduated with a Master's degree in Neurophysiology. He was also a Microbiology instructor before receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, the top-ranked dental school in the United States. Dr. Brinkley then completed a general dentistry residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center at New Orleans where he received advanced training in comprehensive dentistry including: Prosthodontics, Implant Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Periodontics, and Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Brinkley has taught numerous dentists and dental students the latest techniques and procedures while at L.S.U. school of dentistry. He also attends many postgraduate courses nationally including the Kois Center in Seatlle, WA. Dr. Brinkley is a member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association. St. David's Foundation awarded Dr. Brinkley the Theo's Hero award for his charitable work on improving dental health for underprivileged children. He is the consulting dentist for the University of Texas Athletic Department and was a staff dentist with St. David's Medical Center. Dr. Brinkley focuses on providing family and cosmetic dentistry in a warm and caring environment. He offers advanced modern dentistry using the highest quality materials and techniques. Dr. Brinkley is the man behind the smiles of many professional and collegiate athletes, Olympic gold medalist, media personalities, models, business executives, medical doctors, dentist and homemakers, all of who recognized the value of a healthy, beautiful, confident smile.
