About Daniel J. Pinkston, DDS
Dr. Daniel Pinkston received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Saint Louis University in 2006, and then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013 from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry. In his last year of dental school, he participated in the Departmental Honors Program for Restorative Dentistry and was awarded the Outstanding Clinical Performance Award for Excellence at graduation. After dental school, Dr. Pinkston completed a three-year prosthodontics training at the University of Illinois at Chicago and earned his Certificate in Prosthodontics. In addition to being a key member of the team at ClearChoice Dental Implant Center in St. Louis, Dr. Pinkston is also a published author in the Journal of Dental Education. He has been a prosthodontist in private practice from 2016-2019, and spent time as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he instructed students in all aspects of diagnostics and restorative dentistry. Dr. Pinkston loves the artistic component of dentistry. It is his passion for reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry that drove him to pursue specialty training in Prosthodontics. Dr. Pinkston has been a member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics and the American College of Prosthodontists. In his spare time, he enjoys biking, skiing, and photography.
