About Daniel B. Feit, DMD
When Dr. Feit graduated from New Jersey Dental School (now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine) he was awarded membership into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental fraternity, an honor bestowed upon less than 10% of the graduating class. Dr. Feit then completed a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Prosthodontics at the Henry M. Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry at Boston University. Upon returning to the New York area Dr. Feit completed a sub-specialty program in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Feit has completed numerous implant surgical courses and recieved a Certificate of Implant Surgery from Montifiore Medical Center's Department of Dentistry in Oral Surgery and Implant Placement. Dr. Feit has presented his work on implantology at major international dental meeting. In addition to providing the finest in dental care to his patients, Dr. Feit has served in leadership positions as president of the NJ Section of the American College of Prosthodontists, president of the Bergen County Dental Society, and president of the Tenafly Board of Health. In addition to serving as a manuscript reviewer for the Journal of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Feit has authored articles on restorative dentistry published in the prestigious Journal of the American Dental Association. Dr. Feit has written numerous articles for local publications promoting oral health. Dr. Feit maintains a faculty position as Assistant Clinical Professor at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and former Clinical Associate Professor in the Full Mouth Rehabilitation CE Course at the Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Advantage at New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Feit is honored to been appointed by the Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations Department of Testing Services to the Integrated National Board Dental Examination Test Construction Team. This team is comprised of a small group of individuals from across the United States who are participating in the construction of the newest National Dental Examination that is scheduled to replace the existing examination in the next few years.
