About Daniel Azurduy, DDS
It’s no coincidence that Dr. Daniel Azurduy is a successful dentist.Growing up surrounded by a family of dentists and doctors, he saw his father and mother pouring their passion to building a private dental practice. After absorbing that legacy, as a young adult he wanted to go further. He became a regular reader of journals and advanced dental articles that inspired his creativity and vision to model the dental clinic he now owns. After graduating as a doctor of dentistry and several hands on practices, his vision became a reality with the opening of Santa Cruz Dental Care in the heart of Sacramento. His unconditional commitment to putting his patients first, Dr. Azurduy offers a caring, professional and honest dental practice and carries on a family tradition that are the heart and soul of his work. Doctor Daniel Azurduy’s moral and ethical values are the essence of his practice and life. Being the best person possible and doing good to others are two of his core values. That is why he meets with each patient to improve smiles and, ultimately, to spark a memorable experience their dental health lives. When a patient arrives with dental pains or worried about his or her dental health, Dr. Azurduy ensures that the necessary treatment is in place with empathy and reassurance. Dr. Azurduy grew up climbing fruit trees, running across farm fields and sitting at the table with his grandfather’s farm workers in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Dr. Azurduy entrepenurial spirit was evident when as a young adult he’d pick fresh fruits at his grandfather’s farm to later sell in the farmer’s market in his native town. From elementary to high school, Dr. Azurduy was devoted to intense training in martial arts. He competed nationally and made it to a junior world championship. “Karate taught me discipline and respect,” Dr. Azurduy recalls. Today, Dr. Azurduy and his partner Raissa Morris, an immigration attorney, enjoy a beautiful and exemplary family life with their 16-month-old daughter, Eva.
