About Clarissa Kroese, DO
As a former Miss Iowa USA and a board-certified family-practice physician, the world of health and beauty is no stranger to Clarissa. She has seen first-hand the possibilities that can happen when the world of beauty and the medical sphere collaborate. Of course, we must take care of ourselves on the inside, but how we feel about our appearance on the outside matters too. She has been fortunate enough to be able to put her knowledge of medicine and her passion for aesthetics to use to help others build self-esteem and confidence. She graduated in 2001 from Central College in Pella, IA, with a BA in biology, chemistry, and psychology. It was that same year that she won the title of Miss Iowa USA and competed in the Miss USA Pageant. From there she went on to complete medical school and graduate at the top of her class in 2005 at Des Moines University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, IA, and completed her residency in family practice at Genesys Medical Center in 2008. Her passion for helping people maintain a healthy lifestyle and feel good on the inside has given her a great sense of accomplishment, but she wants people to feel good about their appearance on the outside as well. This led her to pursue training in BOTOX® Cosmetic and fillers (JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, etc.). Over the past few years, she has been trained by certified Allergan trainers and spent numerous hours training with a board-certified plastic surgeon. She is excited to have this relationship with Tracy, who shares her passion for helping people look and feel beautiful inside and out! Let us help you discover your best you!
