About Chrysalis Heinkel, DDS
Dr. Chrysalis Heinkel graduated from The University of Texas at Austin before attending The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. In addition to obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery, Dr. Heinkel completed a one year advanced general dentistry residency at the university where she obtained her certification in sedation dentistry, including IV sedation. She also obtained advanced training in implant dentistry and 3rd molar extractions. Dr. Heinkel loves to help patients overcome their dental anxieties and to rebuild their confidence one tooth at a time. It was important to her to get the advanced training so she could work with complex patients beginning to end. Watching people smile again after completing their dental treatment is the most rewarding part of her job. Dr. Heinkel was born and raised in San Antonio and is pleased to be practicing in her hometown. She and her husband, Mark, have two daughters, Harper and Sloane, and two golden retrievers, Reese and Sadie. When not in the offce she enjoys family time and is a fitness and food enthusiast. She enjoys yoga and running, trying new restaurants, college football and the Spurs. Whenever they can, the family likes to travel and experience new places.
