About Christopher J. Dollar, DDS
Dr. Christopher J. Dollar was born in Metro Detroit. He spent his early years in Huntington Woods before moving to Troy. He earned a Biochemistry degree from Central Michigan University in 1995, and received his doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2007. After graduating, Dr. Dollar was an Associate at multiple group practices in Clinton Township, Shelby and Clarkston. While an Associate, Dr. Dollar envisioned what “brand” of dentistry he would like to practice. Fortunately, he found Berkley’s Dr. Roger Black DDS and developed a strong working relationship with him. Dr. Dollar’s brand of dentistry focuses on trust and family. He is committed to the team, and sees his team as an extension of his own family. He focuses on the strengths of his team, and believes time spent together should involve talking, listening and laughing. Dr Dollar is an advocate of continuing education, for both himself and his team. He is an active member in several organizations, including, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Macomb-Oakland Dental Association, United States Dental Institute and the Berkley Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Dollar has been married for 20 years and has two boys. In his free time he enjoys being with friends, family and spending time outdoors. He has become an avid runner, participating in multiple charity events.
