About Charles Tseng
Dr. Tseng is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. He was raised in Los Angeles where he attended Harvard-Westlake School, was a National Merit Semi-Finalist and a top-ranked tennis player on the US National Junior Tennis team. He earned his B.A. in Biology with a concentration in Economics at Columbia University, NY where he was on the Dean's List all four years, played for the Varsity Tennis Team, and graduated Cum Laude. He continued at Columbia University and received his M.D. He matched into and completed the highly competitive combined residency in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at the University of Chicago Medical Center, IL. He then completed a combined fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. Dr. Tseng has presented papers at the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, American Society for Plastic Surgery, Plastic Surgery Research Council and World Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery among others. He has also published papers in leading peer-reviewed journals and text books such as the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Clinics in Plastic Surgery.
