About Caroline F. Owens, DDS
Dr. Caroline Foster Owens is a Baltimore native. She was raised in the former town of Sparrows Point and Dundalk. She graduated with honors from Randolph Macon College in 1982 with a BS degree in Chemistry. She received numerous awards and was elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa. She attended dental school in Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University - Medical College of Virginia graduating in 1986. Along with being a class officer she was elected to Alpha Sigma Chi and received an award from the American Association of Women Dentists for outstanding leadership and academic excellence. Dr. Owens then completed a general practice residency in dentistry at the University of Maryland Medical System and University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She entered private practice in Severna Park and later moved to Towson. She also served as an attending dentist in the residency program at the University of Maryland Medical System for several years. In 2007 she came to this office in Perry Hall to work with Drs Carter and Jaeger. She is a member of the Baltimore County Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr. Owens enjoys all aspects of dentistry and particularly appreciates the growing technology in the field. Dental materials are constantly changing and improving. She enjoys incorporating these advances of knowledge and technology in the everyday practice of family and cosmetic dentistry. In 2009 she became an Invisalign provider. She has maintained her preferred provider status for the last five years.
