About Calvin I. Whang, DDS
Dr. Whang received his Doctoral Degree in Dentistry from the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry and is board certified by the American Board of Dental Examiners. Dr. Whang is also a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Whang has also completed several nationally acclaimed Implant Residency programs and is in the process of completing his accreditation from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Whang also holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California, Irvine. While at the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry Dr. Whang was a member of the Clinical Faculty in several areas of dentistry, including fixed prosthetics, removable prosthodontics and operative dentistry. He was also involved in state-of-the art research in such areas as Procera crowns and air abrasion dentistry. Dr. Whang enjoys swimming, golfing, skiing and photography. He played competitive water polo throughout high school as well as during his undergraduate years at the University of Southern California. Dr. Whang is also fluent in Korean.
