About Bryan R. Thatcher, DMD
Dr. Thatcher was raised in the Tampa Bay area. After graduating from Jesuit High School, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from the University of Central Florida. He attended the University of Florida for his dental degree. Dr. Thatcher continued his education by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency which focused on comprehensive dental treatment and implants. Dr. Thatcher currently serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry at their post-doctoral residency program. Dr. Thatcher also serves on the Executive Council of the Hillsborough County Dental Association. Dr. Thatcher is constantly updating his knowledge through continuing education at the local and national level, as well as being a member in various study clubs. Dr. Thatcher gives back to the community through local dental charity events, including Mission Smiles, and he has traveled to South America, Central America, and Haiti for dental mission trips. Dr. Thatcher enjoys spending time with his wife, young son, baby daughter and boxer, as well as exercising, playing guitar and playing golf.
