About Brian Bottaro, DMD
Norwich Family & Cosmetic Dentistry’s Dr. Bottaro earned his DMD degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1982. He was elected President of the Manchester Dental Society in 1992. From 2000 to 2007, he was also an elected member of the CT State Dental Association Board of Governors. Since graduating in 1982, he has been an active member of the Connecticut State Dental Society and participates in 40 to 50 hours of continuing education per year provided by programs such as the CT State Dental Association. Between 1990 and present day, he has also been appointed to various committees of the CT State Dental Association; including committees for budget, infection control, peer review, annual meetings and the building committee. In 2005, the ICOI honored Dr. Bottaro with fellowship, as well the second-place award for his presentation at the winter meeting of that year. The ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantology) awarded him again in 2010 with Diplomat status as he was acting as an Associate Clinical Professor at the UCONN Dental School. Dr. Bottaro’s peers have continuously recognized his contributions in the field of dentistry by voting him as “Top Dentist” in Hartford Magazine for 15 consecutive years.
