About Bradley W. Greider, MD
Dr. Greider has practiced comprehensive ophthalmology in North Coastal San Diego County for over 30 years. One of the most experienced cataract surgeons in California, he has performed over 20,000 cataract and lens implant surgeries. He is trusted for his surgical excellence and has operated on ophthalmologists, optometrists, physicians, senators, judges, generals, and their families. In addition to cataract surgery, he routinely performs ophthalmic plastic surgery, corneal/refractive surgery and glaucoma surgery. Dr. Greider is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and a member of the California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Greider studied chemistry and molecular, cellular, and developmental biology for his B.A. in Chemistry at the University of Colorado at Boulder. After graduation, he researched cancer biology at Stanford University School of Medicine, earning a M.S. in Biology. He then completed his Doctor of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. He received his residency training in ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA, one of the most respected ophthalmic institutions in the world. After residency, he moved to San Diego to open his practice and raise his family.
