About Anthony E. Marra, DDS
Dr. Anthony Marra was born and raised in Fairmont, West Virginia. At West Virginia University, Dr.Marra majored in biology and minored in communications and history. After his undergraduate studies, he attended West Virginia School of Dentistry. In 2010, Dr. Marra earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Marra is active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations. He is an advocate for proper dental care in under served third world countries. He has traveled to Central and South America on dental and Medical missions brigades. In 2009, Dr. Marra traveled to Guatemala as a dental student. In 2011, while on a mission trip with The Timmy Global Health Foundation in conjunction with Davidson College, Dr. Marra provided dental care to an under served part of the world. Dr. Marra is a member of the American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental Society. In his free time, Dr. Marra enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Marra’s philosophy about dental care focuses on patient education. He strives to provide a patient centered practice.
