About Anne M. Leger, MD
Anne Marie Leger, MD, FAAD (formerly known as Anne Marie Mahoney, MD, FAAD) joined the Advanced Dermatology team on August 2, 2016. Originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Dr. Leger is a Board Certified dermatologist who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College. Dr. Leger received her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her medical internship at Rush Medical Center and her dermatology training at Loyola University Medical Center, where she served as co-chief resident. She is completed a cosmetic dermatology fellowship with highly esteemed dermatologists through the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery where she received advanced training in fillers, neuromodulators, lasers, sclerotherapy and many other cosmetic procedures. In addition, Dr. Leger has authored numerous publications and has presented at national and local conferences. Dr. Leger actively volunteers her time at skin cancer screenings for the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as educational outreach programs through the Women’s Dermatologic Society. Dr. Leger also partook in a medical service trip to Cochabamba, Bolivia. During this trip she treated various dermatologic conditions suffered by indigenous people in the area. Dr. Leger is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
