About Andrew T. Mccormick, DDS
Dr. Andrew T. McCormick is a native Californian, originally from Monterey County. He went to US Santa Barbara (Biological Science Degree) And USC School of Dentistry. Dr. McCormick opened his Santa Rosa dental practice at the end of 1985. His passion for continuing education ensures that the technological advancements being made in the field of dentistry are available to all his patients. Some of the latest advancements, such as laser treatment, implants and new cosmetic procedures, are used in his practice daily. Learning more about the connection between dentistry, medicine, and medications and environmental toxins is of particular interest to him because he sees the effects of these in his patients. One of Dr. McCormick’s affiliations is the Crown Council, a group of elite dentists nationwide who work to develop higher standards in the profession through education, interaction and commitment to excellence. Dr. McCormick has also been past President of the Academy of Cosmetic and Adhesive Dentistry. He has been a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) since 1997. In January 2010, he became an accredited member of AACD, one of 350 dentists worldwide, after extensive work to raise his level of expertise in cosmetic and rehabilitative dentistry. Accredited and Accredited Fellow Members in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry set the standard for excellence in cosmetic dentistry by completing a series of written , clinical and oral examinations.
