About Ana I. Maldonado, DMD
Dr. Ana Maldonado has over 25 years of experience practicing general and cosmetic dentistry, and she has practiced in San Antonio since 2007. Before moving to Texas, she earned her dental degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry in 1985 and practiced dentistry in Puerto Rico. She has completed advanced training in orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, biological dentistry, and mercury-safe (and mercury-free) dentistry. Dr. Maldonado is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She continues to keep current on new technology as a teaching faculty member of the prestigious Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry in Dallas. She also attends ongoing continuing education courses in all aspects of dentistry, including Invisalign, sleep apnea treatment, cosmetic dentistry, and periodontics. In her free time, Dr. Maldonado enjoys cooking, painting, and spending time with her husband, Paul, and two beautiful daughters.
