About Amit K. Kalavadiya, DMD
Dr. Amit Kalavadiya initially earned his dental degree from India and then practiced as a Dental Surgeon for five years before pursuing dentistry in the United States. Dr. Amit Kalavadiya graduated from the highly competitive International Dentist Program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey while also being on the Dean’s List. After graduating, Dr. Kalavadiya went on to further training by completing a General Practice Residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Pennsylvania. While at St. Luke’s Dr. Kalavadiya sharpened his skills and gained valuable experience in general dentistry with additional emphasis in restorative and implant dentistry. Since residency Dr. Kalavadiya has primarily worked on the care of patients in the private practice setting, with focus on restorative, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. He works closely with his patients and believes that active communication with the patient is a key component of the treatment plan in order to optimize end results. Dr. Kalavadiya presents various treatment options and takes the time to explain in detail the advantages and disadvantages so his patients have a complete understanding of their options. He truly believes in an individualized treatment plan for every patient based on their own needs and goals. Dr. Kalavadiya continues to better his knowledge and skill by engaging in continuing education and participating in numerous scientific sessions, courses, workshops, and seminars. He is a member of American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologist, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Apart from his dental practice Dr. Kalavadiya is a clinical instructor at St. Luke’s University Health Network and enjoys life with his lovely wife and three kids.
