About Adriana Zamora, DDS
Dr. Adriana Zamora D.D.S. Graduated in 1997, obtaining her D.D.S. degree from one of the top dental schools in her home country, Colombia. After practicing as general dentist for several years, she moved to Spain to complete a Master in Implantology, Oral Surgery and Prosthesis at the International University of Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. This postgraduate education provided her with advance training in implant restorations. When Dr. Zamora moved to the United States, she pursued advanced training from Columbia University at the Presbyterian Hospital in NY, where she completed a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program (AEGD). After her AEGD graduation, she was accepted to the General Practice Residency (GPR) program in New York Presbyterian Hospital with Columbia University. This residency provided her with advanced training in dentistry, including treatment of medically compromised patients. Dr. Zamora’s extensive experience in adapting to different environments, tackling challenges and interacting with people from diverse background, allows her to have a better understanding of her patients, their concerns and their treatment needs. Patients often come to her office feeling anxious about their dental visit from a previous experience. Dr. Zamora’s confidence and outstanding compassion, creates a calming gentle environment all her patients. She has demonstrated the highest level of commitment to the dental profession, and plans to continue building upon the success, by using the training she experienced in the different cultures of three different continents. Dr. Zamora envisions herself serving the patients of this community and fostering and maintaining long lasting dentist-patient relationships for many years to come.
