About Vincent P. Novelli, DMD
Dr. Novelli is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He earned his dental doctorate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, and his medical doctorate from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Novelli completed a one-year general practice residency, a one-year general surgery internship, and the prestigious six-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency all at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Novelli has lectured both nationally and internationally on the treatment of dentofacial deformities, maxillofacial trauma, head and neck infections, and advanced implantology. His surgical skills encompass the entire scope of treatment options — for patients with congenital, acquired, or traumatic problems of the oral cavity, maxillofacial skeleton, and associated facial structures. Procedures he performs include the repair of cleft lip/palate, all facial fractures, corrective-cosmetic- orthognathic facial surgery, dental/craniofacial implants, bone grafting, laser surgery, arthroscopic/open surgery of the temporomandibular joint, and cosmetic facial injectables (BOTOX® Cosmetic/Restylane®). Dr. Novelli is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a member of the New York and New Jersey Societies of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He maintains hospital and teaching affiliations at Hackensack University Medical Center, Mount Sinai Medical Center, and Elmhurst Trauma Center.
