About Tracey Newlove, MD, FAAD
Dr. Newlove graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society for outstanding academic achievement. She received the Arizona College of Medicine award for academic excellence that is presented to the top two students in the class. In 2006, Dr. Newlove was selected as an NIH Fogarty-Ellison research fellow and spent a year doing clinical research in Salvador, Brazil. After medical school, Dr. Newlove completed her Dermatology specialty training at New York University and was certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She continued her training at the Medical University of South Carolina where she completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery under the directions of Dr. Joel Cook and Brian . Throughout residency and fellowship, Dr. Newlove has continued to contribute to scientific literature and has published on a variety of topics. Dr. Newlove treats a wide variety of skin disorders with a special interest in the prevention and management of skin cancers and the maintenance of healthy skin. She is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
