About Steven B. Albright, MD
Dr. S. Benjamin Albright is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is the founder of his private practice, Albright Plastic Surgery, that serves The Woodlands, TX, Houston, and surrounding communities. Dr. Albright offers a combination of nonsurgical and surgical procedures, including both cosmetic and reconstructive techniques, that rejuvenate the face and body with a special emphasis on breast reconstruction operations. Above all, Dr. Steven Albright strives to provide a personal and caring environment where you are treated with compassion and dignity. He believes that every person and every problem are unique. Using a highly individualized approach, Dr. Albright aims to achieve the most natural results while simultaneously improving form and function. Dr. Albright specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgeries. He is very passionate about breast reconstruction, in particular, and he has dedicated himself to helping women recover from breast cancer. Through rigorous training and years of clinical practice, Dr. Albright has developed a unique skill set that allows him to perform complex breast reconstruction procedures using innovative methods. These include the pre-pectoral tissue expander technique, direct-to-implant technique, fat transfer, breast ReSensation and oncoplastic techniques. He offers both advanced implant-based and flap-based reconstructions, such as the DIEP flap and PAP flap. Some of the top procedures he also performs at Albright Plastic Surgery are breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, and liposuction. Additionally, he offers facial procedures such as a facelift, brow lift, and eyelid surgery, as well as noninvasive treatments including popular injectables (BOTOX®), microneedling, and Ultherapy. Dr. Albright is constantly honing his skills by attending educational seminars and obtaining certifications in the latest technologies. Dr. Albright has an impressive educational background, achieving his B.S. from Stanford University in California. He proceeded to earn his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX with a 4.0 GPA and scoring in the 99th percentile (top 1 percent) on his medical licensing exams. From there, he continued his post-doctoral training by completing a prestigious plastic surgery residency in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Since then, Dr. Albright has and continues to complete a number of certifications and attend training courses to stay at the forefront of his field, such as the Allergan Natrelle 410 Implant Certification Program, Sciton Laser Training Certification, Essential Strategies in Reconstructive Surgery program, and ReSensation Symposium. Dr. Albright serves as an attending physician at multiple prestigious hospitals in the Houston area, including the Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital where he primarily practices and performs surgery. He is also a member for a number of professional societies. Dr. Albright has had the privilege of speaking at multiple symposiums and events, including Houston Methodist The Woodlands Community Breast Cancer Awareness Event, Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital Female and Fabulous: Women’s Health Event, Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital Community Seminar, Houston Methodist Plastic Surgery Grand Rounds, and much more. He has also conducted clinical research and collaborated with other experts in his field to produce numerous articles and literature that have received recognition and publication in major online medical journals. Dr. Steven Albright has also received high praise for his work by the media. He has been ranked as one of Texas Monthly's Super Doctors Texas Rising Stars for 3 years in a row (2017, 2018, and 2019), and received the America’s Top Plastic Surgeons 2016 award and The Baytown Sun’s “20 Under 40” award.
