About Steve R. Fallek, MD
Dr. Fallek has been a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in private practice in New York and New Jersey for almost 20 years. He is the Chief of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center. He is a Past President of the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons and a member of the Executive Board. He is currently the Vice President of the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons and will be Society President in 2020. He has been featured in the New York Times, the New York Post, Glamour, In Style Magazine, the Daily News, Star Magazine, Crain’s New York Business, Newsday, the Bergen Record, and numerous television and radio stations. His local awards include being named a Super Doctors in the NY Metro Area for the years 2011-2018. He has been named a New Jersey Top Docs from 2012-2018 as well as a Bergen County(NJ) Top Doc. New Jersey Health and Beauty Magazine listed him as one of the Best Doctors for Women’s health. He is a regular contributor to multiple beauty and fashion websites and magazines including InTouch magazine, HollywoodLife.com, the National Enquirer, and US Weekly where his views and opinions of plastic surgery are highly sought after. He is one of the “go to” plastic surgeons for the Knifestyles of the Rich and Famous column in Life and Style magazine. Dr. Fallek has also been seen on CNN and Channel 11 (WB) network discussing some of the newest techniques in cosmetic surgery. He has been a guest on many beauty and plastic surgery podcasts. A native of New York City, NY, Dr. Steve Fallek has been a co-author of over 25 scientific papers and abstracts covering the fields of plastic, aesthetic, reconstructive and microvascular surgery. Dr. Fallek is an innovator and Founder and President of Syrene Technologies based in NYC. He holds a patent for a device that allows for painless injections. He is a former board member for Axis Three, a medical device company where he helped develop a 3-D breast imaging device for breast implants. He has advised many beauty and surgical companies on topics ranging from PRP based cosmetic and wound treatments to topical wound closure devices. He has traveled to China to advise health entrepreneurs on the future of plastic surgery in that country as well as the future of regenerative medicine techniques such as PRP and stem cell therapies both here and abroad. He has written many articles for both the general public as well as the cosmetic and beauty professional world. He lives in New York City with his wife and two children.
