About Stephen D. Suah, MD
Stephen Suah, MD, MS, is a skilled dermatologist serving the community of Washington, DC, at Foxhall Dermatology. Dr. Suah received his undergraduate degree and medical degree from the University of Florida. He also received his Master’s in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Georgetown University, graduating summa cum laude. During residency, Dr. Suah has focused on patient-centered care, medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and skin of color while training at Howard University in Washington, DC, VA Medical Center, and Children’s National Hospitals. Dr. Suah will continue to supervise the Surgical Dermatology Clinic weekly at Howard University. Dr. Suah is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the National Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. He currently serves as a mentor for the HU Dermatology Interest Group mentor/mentee program. A proud native of the DC area, Dr. Suah was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, prior to moving to Florida with his family. Dr. Suah is excited about the opportunity to return home to Washington, DC, to serve his community.
