About Shilpi Pradhan, MD
Dr. Pradhan is an experienced physician. After completing her training, she worked at Surevision Eye Centers in St. Louis, Missouri. She was an Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University in 2012, teaching Ophthalmology residents in clinic and in the operating room. She returned to Richmond with her family and worked for Everhart Eye Associates in Ashland, Virginia for two years prior to starting her own practice, “Eye Doctor, MD, PC” in Glen Allen, Virginia in October 2015. Her practice is open to new patients for both medical and surgical care. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She practices comprehensive ophthalmology with an emphasis on Cornea and External Disease. Her practice includes cataract surgery, laser surgery, treatment of dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, diabetic eye exam and macular degeneration as well as many other conditions. Dr. Pradhan received her bachelor’s degree from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia with a major in Biology and minor in English. She completed her M.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed a transitional internship at Carilion Clinic, Roanoke, Virginia and her Ophthalmology residency at Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, Virginia. She was a clinical instructor and completed her Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
