About Serdar Caglayan, MD
Dr. Serdar is an internationally recognized hair surgeon with 26 years of experience in hair transplantation. Dr. Serdar has published over 25 scientific publications on follicular unit extraction and has dedicated both his career and his life to the art of hair transplantation. Dr. Serdar’s journey began in Turkey, the hair transplant capital of the world. Since then, he has performed over 3,000 hair transplants at his clinics in Turkey, Germany, Netherlands and the United States and is experienced with men and women of all skin and hair types. Dr. Serdar currently resides with his family, right here in Farmington Hills, and is the medical director at Venus Hair Restoration. Dr. Serdar is famed for performing complex beard transplants, eyebrow transplants, and even eyelash transplants using follicular unit extraction. He continues to travel the world, educating and training surgeons on the art of FUE hair restoration and making contributions to the specialty field.
