About Sara Sheffield, DDS
Dr. Sheffield was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, and attended the Academy of the Holy Names from Kindergarden through High School. She attended the University of Notre Dame and earned her undergraduate degree in Science Business in 2005, then received her doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2009. Following dental school she practiced general dentistry in Chicago for six years, and recently decided to return to Tampa to be closer to her family and escape the cold winters of the Midwest. Dr. Sheffield is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Hillsborough County Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Sheffield enjoys working out, doing yoga, bike riding, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
