About Sanjiv Shah, DDS
Sanjiv Shah, DDS, is a compassionate dentist, specializing in family and cosmetic dentistry. He provides exceptional care to his patients at Shah & Velilla DDS in Novi, Michigan. Dr. Shah graduated with a bachelor of science in biology and chemistry from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He stayed in Ann Arbor for his dental degree, which he earned at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He’s also completed training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, the Nash Institute for Dental Learning in Huntersville, North Carolina, and the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida. Having grown up in a family of physicians, Dr. Shah has always known that he wanted to work in the medical field. He’s incredibly passionate about helping people to look and feel better, and he loves that dentistry affords him the opportunity to combine art and science in a hands-on capacity. Dr. Shah is passionate about creating a relaxed and welcoming environment for his patients at Shah & Velilla DDS, and he takes joy in surprising them with just how enjoyable a dental visit can be. He believes in delivering focused and individualized care during each of his visits and only ever sees one patient at a time so that he can dedicate the time and energy necessary to give genuinely individualized care. Dr. Shah is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantology, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Oakland County Dental Society. When he isn’t working with patients, Dr. Shah likes to spend time with his wife and two sons. He looks forward to giving his patients at Shah & Velilla DDS beautiful and healthy smiles.
