About Robert A. Young, MD
Dr. Young received an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his Medical Degree and Master of Science in Genetics from Ohio State University.His post-graduate training was at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, completing a residency in general surgery at the former Jewish Hospital and in plastic surgery at Barnes Hospital. Dr. Young has been in private practice in west St. Louis County since 1985.At St. Lukeas Hospital Dr. Young served for many yearsAon the Human Research committee andAas Chairman of theAEthics committee. He is a member of the St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society, the Missouri State Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the St. Louis Area Plastic Surgery Society, the Missouri Association of Plastic Surgery, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
