About Rita Meeks, Aesthetician Specialist
Rita Meeks professional career includes over 27 years of salon and spa industry experience. In 1989, Rita began her career as an apprentice to the late Vivian Haven, founder and past president of the NC Aestheticians Association. Rita is a licensed cosmetologist and aesthetician, is certified in permanent cosmetics, and holds a diploma from the American Business and Fashion Institute. Rita specializes in treating a variety of skin care concerns, including acne-prone and sun-damaged skin. Rita enjoys providing her permanent cosmetics clients with a natural look that enhances their features, and specializes in a hair stroke method for brows that achieves a very realistic look. She also provides areola repigmentation for reconstructive breast cancer patients, and is certified in oncology aesthetics. She holds state certifications in microdermabrasion and chemical peeling, and trained at the American Institute of Permanent Color Technology in Tustin, CA, for permanent cosmetics. She is a member of the American Micropigmentation Association, the Allied Health Association, and has volunteered for Look Good, Feel Better for the American Cancer Society.
