About Rigo J. Mendoza, MD
Dr. Mendoza is our medical director and a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with an M.D. from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in plastic surgery at Wayne Sate University in Detroit and a residency in general surgery at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Mendoza completed a Plastic Surgery Fellowship at the prestigious Manhattan, Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. He also successfully completed fellowships in Burn as well as Hand and Microvascular Surgery. Dr. Mendoza has contributed to numerous research studies and publications in plastic surgery and burn wound care. In all of his work, he strives to provide the highest quality of health care for his patients and the best possible aesthetic results to all whom he treats. Dr. Mendoza emphasizes that he takes great care in ensuring that the patient is well informed about the procedure that they are considering in order to achieve greater overall patient satisfaction. Dr. Mendoza is married with two children. He enjoys skiing and traveling with his family. He is an avid sports fan. Dr. Mendoza is a proud hockey and dance dad.
