About Rhonda Q. Klein, MD
Rhonda Q. Klein, MD, MPH, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist with award-winning experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She is a local Westport mom to four children and a native of Fairfield County. Dr. Klein received her BAS in bioengineering and MD from the University of Pennsylvania with honors, and her MPH from Columbia University. She completed her medical internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, and her dermatology residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident and subsequently stayed on faculty as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology. She currently maintains an active teaching role as an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Yale-New Haven Hospital and the West Haven VA Medical Center. Dr. Klein maintains an active role in academia and clinical research. She is on staff at Yale New Haven Health-Bridgeport Hospital and Norwalk Hospital, having served as the former chair of Dermatology at Bridgeport Hospital. Dr. Klein lectures and teaches regularly, currently leading the dermatology curriculum for Quinnipiac medical students. She has served as an editor for the monthly broadcast, “Dialogues in Dermatology” of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and is a popular resource to writers at publications including Glamour, Huffington Post, TotalBeauty.com, Reader’s Digest, Seventeen, Women’s Health, New York Times and Vogue. Dr. Klein also serves on the Penn Bioengineering Advisory Board and as a mentor for medical students at Penn's Perelman School of Medicine.
