About Raul Cortes, MD, FACS
Dr. Raul Cortes is triple certified in Plastic Surgery, Hand Surgery and General Surgery. He is double boarded by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery and holds an additional Certificate in the Subspecialty of Surgery of the Hand. He is a graduate of both the prestigious Harvard Combined Plastic Surgery Program and the UCLA fellowship program in Hand and Microsurgery. He is a Clinical Instructor in Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, Assistant Clinical Professor at the Mt. Sinai Icahn School of Medicine and holds affiliations with New York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, Mt. Sinai at Queens Elmhurst Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital, Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital and Jersey City Medical Center Barnabas Health. Dr. Cortes is dedicated to all aspects of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He treats conditions of the hand and wrist, as well as performs reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery. Dr. Cortes believes in dedicated individualization of high quality and compassionate care.
