About Raphael C. Lee, MD
Raphael Lee, MD, ScD, is a senior plastic surgeon with special interest in aesthetic reconstruction, regenerative engineering for repair of abdominal hernias, peripheral nerve injuries, varicose veins, and the scar deformities. He has pioneered functional reconstructive surgery methods for correction of congenital and acquired gynecologic defects. Dr. Lee, Past-President, Midwest Association of Plastic Surgeons, is regularly selected as one of America's Top Plastic Surgeons by Chicago Magazine and national publications. He is a member of the American Surgical Association, National Academy of Engineering, International Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering, MacArthur Fellow, and Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
