About Peter C. Revenaugh, MD
Dr. Peter Revenaugh is an experienced and highly sought after facial plastic surgeon in Chicago. He is the director of the Section of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Rush University Medical Center where he teaches residents and fellows in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery techniques. Dr. Revenaugh travels extensively lecturing and sharing his techniques and results with his colleagues throughout the world. He has written numerous scientific articles and book chapters on facial plastic surgery. As an assistant professor, he performs research in the most innovative techniques to further the field and benefit future patients. Throughout his training and career, Dr. Revenaugh has devoted time and resources to humanitarian endeavors. He has volunteered on many humanitarian surgical missions throughout the world as well as locally. He participates in the Face to Face Program that provides free care for victims of domestic violence through the National Domestic Violence Project and Faces of Honor providing care to injured soldiers. He is a proud contributor to Rush medical center’s diversity programs for all communities including lesbian, gay bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning. A native of New York, Dr. Revenaugh has made Chicago his new home. In his free time, Dr. Revenaugh enjoys spending time with his family, pursuing outdoor activities, and taking advantage of the wonderful opportunities Chicago offers. He also enjoys traveling and experiencing other cultures and has visited over 50 countries.
