About Paul English, MD
Dr. English graduated from Weber State University magna cum laude, and the University of Utah School of Medicine. He completed an internship in Pediatrics and did his Dermatology Residency at the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine serving as Chief Resident. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. English has been practicing Medicine in Arizona since 1990. He opened English Dermatology in 1997 with an office in Ahwatukee and followed with an office in Gilbert in 2000. He has since opened offices through out the valley using the same philosophy of giving individual personalized quality care to his patients. Dr. English has been recognized as “Best Dermatologist” in local magazines and has won 5 Top Doc placements from his piers in Phoenix Magazine. He has contributed to articles in national publications including Good Housekeeping and Prevention Magazines. He has been interviewed by local radio and television stations along with a national live interview with CNN. He is a Marketing Partner with the Phoenix Suns and Mercury and has been a team dermatologist for the Arizona Diamondbacks since 1999. Dr. English has also provided services for the ASU Athletic Department and ASU Student Health Services. Dr. English serves on the Board of Directors for Care for Life and has made numerous trips to Mozambique, Africa with his wife, to develop life saving programs for its people. He has partnered with the US Navy and LDS Humanitarian Services providing medical services for the people of Cambodia while assigned to the USN Mercy Hospital Ship. Dr. English is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys to run, hike, fish, backpack, and hunt. He enjoys ranching and raises beef cattle. He enjoys traveling with his wife and activities with his grandchildren. He is active in his church and has served in various lay positions. Dr. English treats his patients with the same passion he has for life. He wants to do it right and provide the best care that he is capable of.
